Buy Quality Fig Cuttings.

Jan 06, I want to add Violetta Bella - also another Lorusso fig. My friend bought few cuttings directly from Lorusso in I got the cutting directly from my friend. I'm growing it since Octit has already set the fig, not drop.

Process. Select the best looking and healthy fig tree branches and cut them off the tree with clean, sanitized pruning shears. Cut branch into pieces each consisting of at least four buds.

With a sharp knife remove about 2 cm of skin (bark) from the bottom of the cutting. Not to be confused with Francesco Lorusso’s “Violetta” which is entirely different. Figaholics: My Violeta came from someone who got it from Francisco in Portugal and, as Francisco stated on F4F, Violeta is believed to be the formal name for the figs also called Black Madeira and Figo Preto (and probably Madeira Island Black).I have never seen this accession at Wolfskill but don’t.
